For people, what if you could eat meat without worrying about where it came from, ethical or health standards and freedom from E. Coli and Salmonella. For animals, UPSIDE has the ability to make all the meat they need from the cells of a small number of healthy animals–without needing to raise, transport, and slaughter billions of animals each year. For the planet, cultivated meat can help protect the oceans from fertilizer and manure, rescue millions of acres of land, restore biodiversity and eliminate nearly 124 million tons of annual CO2 emissions from our atmoshphere.
